Software

PerSense Cloudlet (2017): Personal platform for communication and interaction in trusted circles based on network analytics (e.g. learning of roaming habits and social interaction activities). Applied to three vertical markets: school and families (B2C); commerce (B2B); enterprises (B2B). Framework developed by Senception LDA based on the outcomes of the UMOBILE European project.

Now@ (2017): Android application that allows users to exchange data based on user interests, without relying on the existing Internet access or wireless infrastructures, based on the NDN-OPP software package. Developed in the UMOBILE project. Available on Github.

TECD router (2010): This package provides the TECD algorithm for the Opportunistic Network Environment (ONE). It is implemented to work with the Time-Evolving Contact Duration (TECD) utility function used to derive the weight of edges in a social graph from the statistical contact duration that nodes present over time.

Control of multi-user sessions (2008): Prototype for Multi-service Resource Allocation (MIRA), Multi-user Session Control (MUSC), Cache-based Seamless Mobility (CASM), to support multimedia multi-user sessions for mobile users. Developed in the SAPRA and Q3M projects.

Relay CSMA/CD-PSDN (1993): Prototype of a relay to interconnect the CSMA/CD and PSDN networks. This work was developed in the project PMCT/C/TIT/454/90 financed by JNICT and EWOS/ED015.
